((Kirkland tank // thrifted skirt // Forever21 necklace // thrifted Portofino handbag // Fossil watch // The Limited headband // Charles David wedges))

It was the brightest of days. It was the darkest of days. Fortunately, the sunshine’s abrupt transition to a drenching downpour resulted in an incredible full-arched rainbow over Occoquan. I feel as if the experience defined the midi skirt for me. I found this one at a thrift store for $4 and love the bright details. Midi skirts can be tricky in terms of length, but this light fabric falls just below the fullest part of my calves, and the pattern helps draw the eye upwards. Midi, mid-day, good day.
